What is Divorce Liaison?
Divorce Liaison is an online document-preparation and organization tool. You answer simple questions about facts you already know — where you live, when you married, whether you have children, what you own and owe. Divorce Liaison uses those answers and the rules for your state to organize which documents apply to you and what order to complete them in.
What problem does it solve?
Many people can handle an agreed divorce themselves but get stuck on the process: which forms apply, what the legal terms mean, and what to do next. Hiring an attorney for a straightforward, agreed divorce can be expensive. Divorce Liaison gives you a clear, sequenced path so you are not guessing at forms or legal labels.
Who is it designed for?
- Spouses who broadly agree on property, debts and, if they have children, parenting.
- People who want to prepare their own paperwork instead of hiring an attorney.
- People who want plain language, not legal terminology.
