Terms of Use

Please read these terms before purchasing or using any Divorce Liaison Inc. product.

Effective August 2026 · Divorce Liaison Inc.

1. Who we are

Divorce Liaison Inc. publishes self-help educational materials, organizational tools, and document-preparation guidance for people handling their own uncontested divorce. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and we do not provide legal advice or legal representation. Using this site or purchasing a product does not create an attorney-client relationship.

2. What you are buying

A Divorce Liaison kit provides state-organized guidance, worksheets, a questionnaire that organizes your own answers, plain-language explanations, links to official court and government sources, and tools to keep your paperwork in order. You are the author of every document you prepare, sign, and file.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, for verifying current court requirements, forms, and fees with the court where you intend to file, for meeting all deadlines, and for filing your own documents. You agree to provide truthful information and to use the service only for your own matter.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. Our materials are designed for uncontested matters. If your matter is contested or involves disputed custody, complex assets, business interests, immigration consequences, bankruptcy, or any safety concern including domestic violence, you should consult a licensed attorney in your state.

5. No guaranteed outcome

Courts decide cases. We do not guarantee that a divorce will be granted, that documents will be accepted, that any custody, support, or property result will be reached, or that any matter will conclude within a particular time. Court timelines and decisions are outside our control.

6. Court and third-party fees

Court filing fees, service-of-process fees, notary fees, copying fees, and any third-party service charges are separate from the price of a Divorce Liaison product and are paid directly to the court or provider.

7. Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout and are charged at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; Divorce Liaison Inc. does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Discounts, including the Military & First Responder discount, apply only when the stated eligibility verification is completed successfully.

8. Your account and content

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You keep ownership of the information and documents you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to store that information and to produce the materials you requested.

9. Acceptable use

You may not resell, redistribute, or republish our materials, use the service to prepare documents for other people commercially, attempt to access another customer's information, interfere with the security of the service, or use automated tools to scrape our content.

10. Intellectual property

Divorce Liaison Inc. materials, worksheets, instructions, and branding are our property. Official court and government forms linked or referenced through the service remain the property of the issuing authority and are subject to that authority's terms.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as our products and applicable requirements change. The effective date above reflects the most recent update. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
