Electronic Signature & Records Consent

By creating an account and using the Divorce Liaison workspace, you agree to receive account documents, disclosures, receipts, and notices electronically rather than on paper.

Where the service offers electronic signing, your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten signature for the record you are signing, consistent with the federal E-SIGN Act and applicable state UETA laws.

Some courts, clerks, and document types require a wet-ink signature, an original, or notarization, and some require a specific approved e-filing channel. An electronic signature created here does not override a court's own signature or notarization rules. Always confirm requirements with the court where you intend to file.

Notarization, including remote online notarization where available, is performed by a commissioned notary through a third-party provider, not by Divorce Liaison Inc. Availability and validity of remote notarization depend on your state and on the receiving court.

A current web browser, an internet connection, an email address you can access, and the ability to view and save PDF files. If you cannot meet these requirements, request paper handling through our contact page.

You can download and save a copy of any document you sign from your document center. We recommend saving a copy outside the service as well.

You may withdraw consent to electronic records at any time through our contact page. Withdrawal applies going forward and may limit or end your ability to use the online workspace, since the product is delivered electronically.
