Privacy Policy

Divorce information is among the most sensitive information a person can share. We collect only what is needed to deliver the product you purchased, we keep it in a private workspace that only you can open, and we never sell it.

Account information (email address and password credentials handled by our authentication provider); purchase information (order reference, product, state, amounts, and discount eligibility status); the answers you enter in your questionnaire and workbook; documents you upload to your workspace; and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card number — payment details go directly to our payment processor. When identity verification is used for the Military & First Responder discount, we receive only a confirmation of eligibility status, not your underlying service records.

Your questionnaire answers, workbook entries, and uploaded files are stored in a private database and a private storage bucket protected by row-level security rules, so records are readable only by the signed-in account that owns them. Uploaded files are not publicly accessible and are served only through short-lived links issued to you. Data is encrypted in transit.

You can. Our staff access is limited to the minimum needed for support, fulfillment, and fraud prevention, and privileged access is recorded in an internal access log. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use vetted providers for hosting and database services, payment processing, email delivery, and — where you choose to use them — identity verification, electronic signature, notarization, and electronic court filing. Each receives only the information needed for its function.

Documents you file with a court become part of a court record and are generally governed by that court's public-access rules, not by this policy. Consider what a court record discloses before filing, and ask the clerk about sealing or redaction options if you have safety concerns.

We keep your workspace available while your account is active so you can return to your matter. You can delete individual uploads at any time from your document center, and you can request deletion of your account and its contents from your account page or through our contact page. Some transaction records are retained where required for tax, accounting, or legal obligations.

You may access, correct, export, or delete your information, and you may opt out of non-essential email. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what is collected and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 other than the information an adult customer provides about their own household as part of their matter.
